Hi, I'm new to this site. I am resigned from my position that I was at for 5 yrs because of consistent harassment and sexual harassment from some coworkers and management, with Admin and HR's knowledge and consent. I was what is considered "de-hired".
I have had PTSD symptoms before - after I was with my mom when she had a heart attack several yrs ago. It resurfaced (in different ways specific to the type of harassment) with the work issue.
I am currently only working pt commission, no benefits, and making very little. I was denied (of course) UI benefits because I did not return to work after my federal medical leave expired and was considered resigned.
I have not been diagnosed by someone who is certified to do so, but have seen a couple of counselors (one with the EAP while I was still employed). Really need support as this issue has not warranted any from my partner that I live with. Help!! :banghead:
