Phew * stinks*

Note to self.

Next year broccoli and Stilton soup is definitely off the menu. I cannot cope with the smell Rory is producing ...agh and he ate sprouts too!

Oooo Chrissyy, sorry to hear that! I remember my Christmas dinners of the past, very lean and lonely. I have tried to make new traditions for myself in the meantime. The lonely ones were not much but sure were preferable to the 'family' options that I seemed to have.

Ach, I had a really good Christmas, it's my stupid vegetarianism's fault :P I'm sorry you've had sucky Christmases in the past, are they better now?

Back home we have loads of vegetables and potatoes and meat (that I don't eat) and it lasts ages cos we wait so long between courses and it's my favourite meal! And I love Brussel Sprouts and it's the only time we have them, ha.

Yes my Christmases are much better now, thanks! So glad to hear that yours was too. Richard is a veggie too and loves the brussel sprouts too! Luckily they don't bother me.

Ah good stuff! I've loved them since I was a kid, which is apparently really weird! Although BL, I totally agree with you on the brocolli and stilton soup!

Hmm. I know it is a wee bit early but I am trying to think of what to cook for Christmas Dinner this year. I am glad I started this thread or I might have made the same mistake with the soup!

What suggestions does anyone have for a good, but different Christmas Dinner?

There will probably be 4 of us, and one of us only eats fish and chicken. Last time I did her dinner separately and would probably do the same again as she really struggles and gets confused when faced with anything new.
