@Supervixn I can so relate to the working with all women environment, as a woman..it can be toxic. My ex husband also works with all women and has his own “Michelle” he’s been dealing with for years.
I would not confront her directly because people like her are master manipulators and she will turn it around on you and it will get worse. Like @Neverthesame said, it’s just like high school and the most popular kid wins.
My question to you is whether having a new title will change anything about your job?
If you are going to stay at this job, what has worked for me and the ex is paying as little attention to the others as possible. This Michelle thrives on attention so the less you give her the better. That can work for short term.
For the longer term, I’d consider taking stock in what’s important to you in a job and working environment and see if there’s another job in a less toxic environment.
