Tj's Paradigm Shift
Bronze Member
51 year young gf with complex ptsd seeks common ground with others who 'get it' and are on a path of gradual healing.
Getting back to basics and forming cohesive friendships that are non-toxic or suffocating is essential to those of us who know what it is to have PTSD. It would be great to meet others who enjoy simple things like camping, fishing and scenic settings where people can just 'be'.
Like many, I'm one with PTSD who does not care for loud crowd scenes, any kind of violence, controlling people or confrontational settings. I understand how deeply the layers of PTSD run, feeling isolated, detached or indifferent and how important it is to follow a path of healing at a gradual pace, respecting individual boundaries.
I am not seeking a relationship of any kind, be it male or female. Am still leary of relationships. Would be nice to form an outdoor ladies group (but not limited to) for those who like camping, fishing, crabbing, BBQ's (I love to cook), sharing humor or other creative endeavors.
I do smoke cigs and am a moderate drinker but will not be around anyone into drugs or hard core drinking (too chaotic). I am understanding of those who balance with herbal essence but nothing beyond that. I am honest, non-aggressive, pro-communication (for an introvert) yet not an excessive talker. Let's cultivate something cohesive.
Any suggestions on such gatherings welcome.
Thank you. Tj (snohomish county, washington state)
