I started doing it on a website/link that got posted under the talk - about a week ago - but my ADD kicked in and then... I forgot. even with the email reminders. Also, the exercise and meditation thing are hard for me. But I'm game...

Honestly, I am the most anti- addictive personality ever. I realized three weeks ago that I had forgotten to take my vitamins for like five days. A long established habit... and I just forget, and don't notice (until my 6 year old daughter says, "aren't you going to take your vitamins too mommy?":confused:)
 
I'd like to give this a shot! I've kept a gratitude journal in the past, and know I could benefit from more exercise and meditation. Not sure how much of a difference it will make until I try it.

I can see how recording the positive things that I experience each day could come in handy on the days when I feel like nothing ever goes right in my life -- empirical evidence of the opposite!

Is there a journal feature on this site that we would post to? Sorry if that's a question with an obvious answer, I looked around a bit, I'm having a bit of the old brain-fog today.
 
I was fortunate enough to attend his Town Hall event last year. They are also replaying on public tv channels!

I am in! His methods are very easy to follow. Having a thread is a great idea. Life is always busy, this will be a great way to remember. :tup:

Cool... Eleanor, Therapy Bankrupt & Pixi are all in. Last evening I watched a short documentary about smiling on the documentary channel. It was about a man who had a history of depression and was pretty interesting. I did a search on it to find the name but have been so fatigued out I couldn't remember it.

The main reason I set a start date of April 1st was because of going back to work. I wanted to try to normalize it before adding something new.
