@Mal Content Eddie does have some very compassionate traits. I don't know how he puts up with me sometimes. In that way I believe he is much wiser than I am. Besides it got me wondering how many crusts were hidden and started me cleaning.
He does tell me when to go to bed.
I just know I am very lucky.

Awwwwwww, Moose is such an attentive and empathetic guy. Name for E's pup yet?

If the mister had his phone on him... a similar photo would have been our Bodi and the baby bird. Ripley is not to be trusted, but Bodi "alerts" on the babies who still can't fly (3 now, two cardinals and a robin) - He just wants us to know they are there and on the ground and something's not "right" about it.

After I lost my boy last year, my neighbour's cat kind of adopted me. I don't feed him, but he comes visiting whenever he spots me out, and roams through my house like he owns it. Yesterday, I looked out in the garden to see him frolicking over the lawn, chasing flies like a kitten. It was hilarious.

I have a friend that has the cutest little dog and she came over yesterday to drop something off , when I opened the screen door, Daisy came into my place and walked around and sniffed the new smells. We both laughed and her little tail was wagging and cheered me up so much.

On April 8th we said goodnight to this one for the last time. She was a hearty 21 years...
