Our Pets

My dog has the life too. I have baked him healthy peanut butter dog biscuits in the shapes of hearts and bones. He gets his shoulders and skull massaged.

He's sure is happy...does that doggy laughter...you know the sound I speak of? If I could drop a wave file in here I would. So the doggy laughter sound is not panting from heat, nerves, thirst...it's different...some animal rescue shelters play the dog laughter sound via loud speakers to the kennels. It's helps them to calm down. I do this sound to my dog and he joins in.

I do have human friends IRL too, just in case you were worried about me. I'm doing ok...dragging my feet on writing my diary hereby having on a feel good thread instead. hehe

I know the noise, my black dog 'talks' the most and yes if you 'talk' that back at them it can be quite a conversation:laugh:

I had to share this.

I've just gotten up and come throught to the computer, which is upstairs overlooking the front of the house. My dogs were with me but Max runs up and down the stairs bringing me toys.

Suddenly he is barking, his vicious there is something there bark. I look out, the street is quiet, nothing around. He is still barking and growling, but now a little uncertainly.

I go over to the window and look out. Now I can't stop laughing. There on the driveway is

wait for it

a red balloon, inflated and rolling around.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my dog, my protector is saving me from Balloons!!

And a very deadly red balloon at that!

Yes its true he is really hard done by, having to go to uni with me every day eating the left overs of students lunches and as much chase the stick he can get. Followed by the horrific task of licking the dinner plate clean, he was warned last night that if the plates werent clean he can pack his bone up and start trotting. Mawh haha... Then he has to indure through deep tissue strokes with a dash of botty scrating and passing out on the floor to chase the bunnies in his dreams. I wish I was a dog!

There is a rather fab shot of him dressed in ski sunshades and hoody, but its on my Blackberry and I would have the first idea how to get it off.

I have a cat that my son rescued from a railway track, we're not sure how old he is but I would guess about 7 or 8. When we first got him he never made any sounds at all, he is now finding his voice and moans at me if I have left him out for too long lol.

He always seems to know if I am anxious and snuggles right up to me and grabs my hand with his paws to make me stroke him, which calms me down

To get it off view it then click options selected send as text message, then when it asks for number select to enter email address then send it to your email, thats how Iget the pics from my phone to pc

Aw thanks, but these photos were on my hard drive. I have a photobucket but it was last year. I'll have to do some digging to see if I can find the slide show. These were from a blog post I did about what we can learn from our dogs (or something like that). I figured this would be better than throwing the link to my blog. I don't have a cell phone (technophobe swamp woman with no $$$ to speak of)

Hey, found the slide show... a bit more than pets, the fish camp is there and me and the mister... enjoy:
