I went to a bike show today. I was with someone but it is the first time I've interacted with people in a group for ages.

Maybe next time I can make it alone.

...and baby steps. Maybe go with someone else another 5-76 times before expecting to go solo? Like PT, yeah? Day 1 = 1 mile. Day 2 =/= 10 miles, but the smart play is a week at 1mi, then 1.3, 1.5, 1.7.

For the record, I both hate the term and the application of baby steps. Still the smart play, though.

I go to places I know alone. Anything routine I do ok, unless there's a crowd or a lot of sensory stimulation.

I haven't gone alone to something like that alone in years

I had coffee with my sister at a cafe less than a block from my house. 40 minutes of society and I slept for 2 hours to recover.

Short version: I totally get how massive that is, so bringing out the virtual marching band and the girls with the virtual pompoms for you! Hooray!!!:laugh:
