Do you live "out in the middle of nowhere" and find it hard to find others nearby? Would you like to be an email buddy here on the Forums?? If so, please feel free to email me. I'd love to chat.

So when you say email buddies do you mean using the conversation option on the forum or actual email? Would like chat with someone on a regular basis but unsure of the protocols. Merry Christmas :)

Well, chat would be great, or the private conversation option here as well or only. I'd love just to have a close buddy here on the Forum that we can relate well.

Sheila, Please be aware of the point of this forum - to meet people within your local area.

Sorry, I guess I missed all that in my endless search. I was just so discouraged because there seems to be no one in my area, I already posted several times looking for folks near close to here, then a little farther from here and then in the tri-state area even and I got no one. I was so discouraged that I felt this was my only option; I thought it would be better to have an email buddy than NO ONE AT ALL!

Far Western North Carolina, Andrews is the town. It is in Cherokee county. I live way out in what folks call the boonies, but it is beautiful and mostly quiet here, except for some noisy neighbors upstairs. The mountains are breathtakingly beautiful. The air is sweet with the aroma of coming spring. And this town has 2600 folks in it, that is all.

Oh wow, I'm in Australia, New South Wales, in a town called Woolgoolga. We're on the coast and we have 2 beaches with a headland in-between. We have bushland behind us and everyday we go for a walk through it to the beach. Lots of kangaroos and birdlife, goannas and snakes. I hand feed the kookaburras, and I have a 10 year old dog, I suppose you could say I'm an animal lover. I'm not terribly computer literate, so excuse any mistakes. Your place sounds beautiful. We are still in summer.

We are in winter here, and your place sounds awesome too! As to computer mistakes or whatever one wants to call them, I could understand all you wrote, so that is of no concern to me, thanks. Anyway, looks like we are half a world apart, yet here we are communicating like nothing is between us at all, but maybe some ether!

One thing I love is to look up into the night sky and see so MANY stars! Even standing by a street light, there are more here than there were in the city. City light bleached them out of sight.
