Either you threatened Anthony with a lawsuit about some of the rhetoric on here
Wouldn't work with me... so please rule such things out. I look at every issue impartially, and I don't care who is behind it. Legal threats I've had for years, along with some nice attempts, all of which have failed.

Hey Anthony

It's good to see ya around, although not under the present circumstances.

One of the things that really negatively affects my PTSD is drama. I've always despised it and even more as I've gone on in this life. I'd prefer not to see quite so much of it here as there seems to be of late.

It's about 7 pm here. I'm going to go back outside and sit under the tree and listen to the birds, watch the clouds and enjoy the quiet of this time of day. Hope ya'll can do the same.

I was never into the patch thing either (Navy). Some guys bought a cruise jacket (civilian clothing) and put any patch on it they could find that related to them/their unit/battlegroup, the targets we bombed, and the cruise(s) they were on. As a Golden Shell Back (crossed the equator at the 0.180 coordinates you were allowed to have a gold dragon embroidered on the inside of your dress uniform cuffs - Liberty Cuffs). On liberty if you were required to wear your dress uniform you could turn your cuffs inside out to show the dragon... Meant nothing to me. The Navy pretty much killed the shellback initiation on my first cruise, and has totally destroyed it in the following years. Hazing...

Yeah, the navy ain't big on patches. Thats ground-pounder stuff. Now as for command ball caps and command Zippos...
Still have my Shellback, Order of The Ditch and Bluenose certs though. Got a few challenge coins, but in my mind they aint much good for anything 'cept seen who is paying for drinks. (I have a MCPO of the Navy- rarely bought drinks, me. Sad part is I got the damned thing because I was able to out drink a rather arrogant butterbar- but that is a story unto its own...)

I have a nice collection of Zippos, over 40 from ships and bases all over the world. Some I bought on site, many I traded for. My centerpiece is a vintage Subic Bay Chiefs Mess Zippo.

Also, Wagon? you're a filthy Wog?!?! We may have to remedy that...

Used to collect Zippos too until one of the maint. guys got his hand blown off from a booby trapped one. Didn't touch one after that. Called EOD to get them...imagine they had quite a collection

My stuff is all over the web. Everything you want to know about what I did, when and where. Fine with me, don't need no secrets.

I hate our unit patch. Everyday my shoulders remind me I'm in a hell hole. I hated deployment but now all I want to do is go back. Garrison life is f*cking stupid and everything pisses me off it seems. Going on leave this last month just made it worse. It felt like I was being reminded that I was a screw-up leg. Why do they deploy us from Germany then send us back to the same depressing place. I wish they had sent me to Campbell or Bragg but no. Freaking Warner Barracks the armpit of the Army. Our crest says "Loyalty" but all I see and feel is contempt here. No one likes being here and no one likes this unit. We're artillery but haven't touched a howitzer in almost two years. Not expecting to use one for another 6 months while battalion moves to an even shittier post south. Being a leg the told me I was going to be curtailed now they're saying I might be stuck here the duration of my contract. Sky Soldiers right? King of the Herd, Guns from Heaven. Some BS I just want to take my 173rd patch and CAB off but our battery commander said we have to wear them.

Evening Mile. You might of wanted to post that in the introductions section, but I think we got the point. Welcome out.
