Paws And Effect With Help

Yesterday I made a monumental (for me) commitment. Helped by many here I applied to an organization that I hope to work with and for. My experience and skills are a good match. Low self esteem takes my voice, courage, and openness away. For the cause of no kill shelters and saving dogs (as mine does for me) the goal of working to save them all lifts me up to my self at my best, or better.

I want to thank many here for beyond encouragement advice and assistance.

It is only the first step. Interviews, evaluation, then if I get the position working with many people. Bonus is hundreds of dogs, that have a sanctuary where they are cared for while they heal, adapt and thrive. I am a dog at heart, and will thrive there too.

First step. Good solid step. Panic should be high, but it is calming on this path. Many challenges, good friends surround me.

Congratulations! My husband and I work with a no-kill cat rescue. We bottle raise the orphaned kittens that come in. It's super rewarding to take something so helpless and innocent, and help it grow into a confident, affectionate, healthy companion. What type of work have you applied for?
