No snow down here... the best we can do is a bubble machine. I took this at the zoo tonight, a young family is enjoying themselves. It smelled though like dish washing liquid.

This is a photo I shot from way up above these mountains from the tallest mountain in that area (Maggie Valley, NC), but one would think it is a painting instead, because it is so almost abstract compared to the original scene. Yet this is what my camera saw. This was taken just before sunrise, so that is why everything turned blue I guess. This is the thumbnail, so click on it to see the full image.

This is my pet Betta fish, his name is Rubeo, because rubies are red. He's really an amazing fish, always follows me around the room, as he is kind of in the center of the room (or his tank is). If I am toward to door, he is nearest the door, if I am on the other side of the room toward the window, he is nearest the window, and when I sit on the couch in front of his tank, whichever side of the tank I sit closest to, that is the side he is on. AND! When I wave to him, he wiggles back and forth, I kid you not!!!

This was taken in Maggie Valley, NC a year and a half ago. It is one of the most pristene places I have ever been to. Crystal clear waters, freshest of air, nice folks, best views and a place I'll never forget! I felt the presence of God there very strongly in those mountains.

Sheila, have you ever been to Chimney Rock in NC? It was near Ashville. Absolutely magnificent.
