[Still Standing]

Thanks everybody for the kudos. It is nice having a place in which to post photos.

Agreed, @Still Standing . When what I need the most is a glance outside of myself and my surroundings, I just visit here and Whoomp! There it is. So grateful for the glimpses.

Grateful, too, for the space and chances to look back and see the glimpses that I've been fortunate enough to have surround me and to create and capture - pure f'n magic (and luck), some of it - which is what I benefit from shifting my focus to rather than the pure f'n hell. Am in good company, indeed.

This is a lightning strike I took a few weeks ago on a state park walk. Since we experienced this before I knew to follow the Roots. You can see where it comes out of the ground.

I love Cardinals! They are an oddity to me since they are not in my part of the world. One time when in North Carolina, I saw them, for real, and they just fascinated me. They are beautiful birds!

We saw lightning strike a tree, once, and it blew it up! Your photos are really pretty and what a fascinating thing to see how lightning leaves it mark.

I live in NC. I see cardinals many days. They really are fascinating birds. So beautiful too. I see them from a distance, because they love the trees across the street.

Here is my real Buddy. No seizures for four days, now! Yay! He is my Taco-Weiner dog...a Chiweenie.

Here he is intently watching a field of Canadian Geese.

Thanks, ladee. It is nice to be able to share with others, the photos I take, and for them to enjoy looking at them. And it is looking promising that Pup's epilepsy is under control.
