[Tornadic Thoughts]

It's been gloomy and rainy here the last few days, so I took the camera for a walk in between showers to find the beauty in the day, after I spent time creating more hula hoops and crafty stuff....

I had no idea that their little necks could stretch so far....lol...

The first tiger lily that opened up this year...(this morning there were 4 or 5 more open)

Morning strolls will soon be much tastier than usual....

One of my favorite bird buddies, enjoying a beak full of seed from the feeder...

What a great shot, @jaccat ! First thing I thought when I saw it was, "Beam me up, Scotty!" lol

I finally finished connecting and wrapping my new batch of hoops today. Yay! Hoping to get some more hoops on hips in my 'hood. They even fold up so you can travel to many different 'hoods. How convenient. :)

Ahhh...I just listened to the song Wildflowers by Tom Petty, @intothelight . Great timing! :)

I adore those turtle shots, @shatter eyes . The suspense is killing me...did she ever reach the berry? :)

You know those moments when you're planning to do one thing, but then something directs you, or distracts you, to go in the opposite direction you were planning to go in? That's what happened this morning and I'm so glad it did! If not, I would have missed this moment of awe-inspiring awwwwwww-ness that nature provided...my heart is so full of gratitude...
