What a joy to return to this thread after a little while of being away and catch up on all of your beautiful photos!
@bellbird thank you for starting this again.
Amen to that. I really love this thread :)
High fives and heart hugs to @bellbird for thinking of it and creating it.
Appreciate the love very much, and send it right back to each of you who have made this thread the space that it has become
We've all been united here initially through this shithouse disorder that affects us either directly or indirectly, and to have created a space that can make you remember just how beautiful the world is in the moments you need that reminder most is pretty damn awesome. Thank you all for taking the time to capture a moment out of your days and nights and share it with the rest of us.

We're a week out from the shortest day down here in the Southern Hemisphere, and I'm missing summer especially, today.
Here's a throwback to my sunflower (big)babies from two years ago.

Thank you, @LuckiLee !
That walk was such a lifeline during some pretty intense SI. Knew I needed to just get myself away from.. things, to at least give myself a chance to re-regulate.

Ended up meditating on a slab of rock bathed in sunlight next to the river, listening to the sounds of the water and the native birds.

I think it's one of life's paradoxes that beautiful things can be born from such deep pain :)

Thank you, @ladee !

This is a full version of the bridge photo, taken as I was leaving my special place and returning to the "outside world".

If you zoom in, you can see there's a sliver of light on the far end of it.
That was so symbolic on a day of intense SI and hopelessness. Like the universe saying there is light at the end of this.
