This box turtle clearly doesn't have PTSD. I don't know why it did not tuck its head in! We said hello on a hike a week or two ago.

What a kind compliment about the lovely spidey pic....thank you, @shatter eyes . :) It's a Canon digital camera of some variety that has more bells and whistles than I know what to do with. I keep it on the automatic setting 99% of the time and just zoom in and click a whole bunch and end up with a few good ones here and there. I took a digital photography class at the community college many years ago, but the technical details didn't stick with me, at all.

I vote for getting more chimes, @TruthSeeker ! I have quite a few hanging around, even indoors. I enjoy tapping them as I walk by, especially on days I feel like poo. It helps break up the energies in the moment and remind me just how much pleasant (to me) sounds can help redirect my stinkin' thinkin'.

Here's some of my most recent visitors...

I wonder if this is the same one we saved from the bird netting on the blueberry bush? Hmmm...

Wonderful critters, @Tornadic Thoughts .

Here's one of my own (albeit in poorer quality, as an excited zoomed in phone photo).

A kereru (NZ native wood pigeon).
I like to think of them as the chefs of the pigeon world, as it looks like they are wearing white aprons.

They're the one of the biggest flighted birds that you would typically find in the bush during daylight, and I always love when I catch a glimpse of one.

Wow....gorgeous shots! The kodak moments in this thread always make my heart smile...be it fuzzy as f*ck or clear as a bell. lol Heartfelt connections via our camera lenses. One of my favorite therapeutic outlets. ?

I just love photography! I'm a canon nut! Photography is total peace for me....I try not to invade their space and grateful they don't invade mine. ;)
