Goldfinches are one of my absolute favorites! Such a great capture, @Fahrenheit451 . I call them my little sunshine(s) with wings. ? They definitely brighten the days when they're in the 'hood.

Loving your leaf/tree pics, too, @berlinda . There's one yellow one in our yard that's still holding on to most of its leaves. Gee, I can relate to holding onto stuff in more ways than I'd like to count. It's my anchor for some brightness on these gloomy and cloudy colder days.

Hoping to feel perky enough to take the camera for a walk tomorrow, if the rain holds off. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the inspiration you all provide by sharing what you see.

This is one of the special-to-me spaces in our home. My mom gave me the Native American figurine that one of her friends made many years ago and told me it reminded her of me, especially since she's holding a bird in her hands.

The little bluebird of happiness shelf-sitter is something I gave mom decades ago, and she still had it proudly displayed up until the day she passed.

The bamboo plant was given to me by my former acupuncturist/dear friend who relocated out west, and the small piece of wood with a heart painted on it was given to me by her precious son. I miss them and their pup so much.

The rest of the stuff consists of various concoctions I've crafted and ingredients and/or vessels waiting to be crafted.
