LMFAO... Oooooh that damn mountain! Lemme tell ya about the time I drove all the way arooooooound that sucker because I was supposed to be meeting someone to go hiking at “the mountain”, but they sent me the wrong GPS coordinates, so they drove to Ranier and I drove to Helen’s. Things only got worse from there. Rivers without bridges, phones -landlines, even!- with no service, countless where the hell are we???...
The Mnt. St. Helen's photo is amazing. I remember when it blew its top, In May of 1980...Horrific and amazing at the same time. I lived in Washington, when it happened.
Beautiful! I love to take photos of flowers and leaves up close and personal. There is a whole world unto itself in the center of flowers. Great photo. Would you mind if I copied to my computer so I can use it on my screensaver? If no, I will not.A pasque flower on Mt. Rainier

So many soothing shots....thanks to all who share.
Your dragon fly moment, @shatter eyes , reminded me of a flutter-by moment I had two years ago. I freed it from a web and it later flew over and landed on my skirt and hung out with me for about 20 minutes or so. Such a special moment. Grateful for the reminder. My nervous system appreciates this thread and the nudge to go dig up this shot:
