These trees in our yard remind me daily of how some individuals (trees) are able to just let shit (leaves) go, while others hold on to their shit (leaves) much longer....and there's nothing wrong with that. It just is what it is.

I doubt if the trees are sitting there judging the others for being too tall, too branchy, too leafy, too bare, too wide, or too skinny, etc. They just stay rooted, keep growing, supporting life, and wait patiently for hugs.

I hope that this photo uploads all the way. I took this late at night, after it snowed. When I looked at it I was delighted to see the Christmas lights in the background. It made a very interesting Christmas photo.
