So many awesome shots...so much beauty surrounds.

I got this welcome mat for my mom decades ago, as she was a big time baker of breads and cakes of all kinds. She kept it up on her deep freezer so no one would step on it, but they'd be sure to see it. I hope she won't mind us using it for its intended purpose now. It makes my heart smile each time I walk in the door.

This little one has been visiting quite often lately....

I find photography, (esp. nature photography) to be very healing as it connects me to the beauty in the world. I wish that I had a decent camera so that I could participate in this thread as a regular contributor, but until such a time I will at least be able to enjoy the "captures" of others. So, thank you for this thread and thank you to everyone who has contributed to it.
