I took this today at the lake, it was a really nice morning and I took a lot of images.

I made it out to feed the ducks again too. There was a swan there today an all. And they were all so hungry I think I need to buy em more food.

Really nice photos B. It's kinda fun hunting photos, you have a great eye...love the birds in flight against the sunset.

Some days I feel especially humbled to be able to call this beautiful country my "backyard".
These photos were taken while on a walk, just now. I had the Lord of the Ring soundtrack playing through my head phones while I walked; it's one of my favourite ways to ground :happy:



When I got to this point, the air was filled with cotton-fluffs gently drifting downwards past me. I was the only one around. It was quite magical.

Some of them rested on the branches of Christmas tree that was growing there: about the closest to a white Christmas we get here in NZ.

And in the last photo here you can see the table that I'm sitting at while writing this post.

A snippet of fall - we don't usually see leaf changes until January... Nothing like New England or where I grew up, but there are trade-offs...

This is Antelope Canyon in Arizona. The canyon was carved by water over hundreds of years to make these incredible shapes in the walls. At some points you’re down around 100 ft and just wide enough for 1 person to walk through.

Woah, @Fahrenheit451 ! My claustrophobic self held my breath as I scrolled through each shot. lol What a gorgeous adventure.

Tonight's views as the sun was setting and the moon was rising. Maybe one day I'll learn to use my camera in a way that does all the sights I see justice...lol...meanwhile, here's what it sees based on the automatic setting....

Coconut butter/sunflower seed butter/peanut butter/maple syrup/vanilla extract fudge chunks dipped in melted dark chocolate chips, they aren't pretty, but they're pretty tasty....and then some mung bean sprouts to remind me to maintain a healthy balance...lol...they're so much fun to grow during this season when I can't grow things outdoors...

A couple of pictures from this morning. The first is a Flicker which is a type of woodpecker and the second is a bull moose that I took just down the hill from our place. He was nice enough to stand and pose for me. Although I stayed plenty far back as these guys are so big they can move way faster than I can....lol.
