I wish our white clover had an aroma, @Changing4Best . I harvest white and red clover to put in salads and to dehydrate and use for tea/infusions, and it's never had a smell. Or maybe I'm just used to it being surrounded by it? Hmmmm... Now I'm curious. Will have to take a scratch and sniff stroll through the yard. Maybe your olfactory system is super tuned in with what the bees can detect? ? ?

This is my spirit animal for today. After a day full of yard work in the sun yesterday, I'm operating at the speed of a slug today - feeling and loving the solar recharge, though, for sure:

That last is a tiny tree growing in the door crack of my neighbors car. It has been there for a month or so.

@Tornadic Thoughts I was surrounded by clover plants by about fifty percent, but maybe the lovely aroma was coming from elsewhere? Summer breezes carry aromas far, I guess. I do have a sensitive sense of smell though.

Nature is so magical. Today I watched a hawk moth that had just emerged crawl onto a patio table leg and grow its wings from tiny nubs to big flappers. That part is amazing already, but what especially astounded me was that I have a Datura plant opening its first two blooms ever tonight, which is what Sphinx moths love to sip on!

First time seeing that moth here. First time this plant, which I have never grown before, is blooming. And all coinciding on the full moon!

Saved a bee from drowning the other day when I was swimming. I'm always looking for stuff like that.
