From my walk tonight

The tree before and after, the windstorm and the potpourri. The tree got more fragrant with my putting on the lights and the needles did well because it’s live cut . Heating the pine needles in water on the stove worked well. Very fragrant. We do the decorations later we used to do it all together with cookies and eggnog and Charlie Brown on the computer when the kids were little. Now my wife is putting in for skipping it altogether next year. It is a ton of work I’ll admit that, not getting any easier !
