General Please Explain

well I did ask him why he bought it and his reason was so simple... he simply wants to learn more about that type of car!!! Weird!
Alex and my Mum are both currently looking for now. They went to this mushroom farm to apply on Tuesday and were told to come back on Thursday to discuss wages and such things. Well when they went back on Thursday, all they did was fill out an application form- which they could have done on Tuesday! Neither of them are very impressed with that at all. The reason they are so upset by going back for two minutes to fill out a form is that the mushroom farm is a good forty minute drive from our house and then the forty minutes back again, all to fill out a form they could have done 2 days earlier. They did fill out the form and apparently they should get a phone call in about a week or two and if not 'they could drive back and call in to see what's happening'! Honestly it amazes me how people like this can run a business... but my fingers are crossed for them both.
Alex has been looking on the net for jobs on fishing trawlers as well, he would certainly enjoy that but as yet the only job going is in the NT. He is intent on getting a job though.
I just hope it all sorts itself out...

Great to hear about the new home. The e-bay sounds good too. Have you shared with him how glad you are he is getting rid of the stuff. Maybe he could work at an auction house if he is interested in turning over estates? But sounds like you'll have to put him on a limit of home space for his stuff he purchases and the amount of stuff he can purchase within the family budget.

I know sometimes I go on buying spree's of beading stuff. I do it because it makes me feel good and I think I deserve it. I manage my expenditures though and limit myself. Sometimes I realize it is because I am filling a need I don't know I have - like being lonely or something. This is typical of PTSD I think.

Also, be happy he is still engaged in the here and now and interacting with life. That is a great sign.
