Do we need to post are DD214. I was wrighting Jimmy on a private post and was interupted by a pop up that wanted to know what kind of PTSD I have whjich deleted all I wrote. Is there some proof that we need now if so I will provide it I don't want to type things twice. Nothing against you Anthony just don't understand. It is not doing it now while I'm posting this. I can't get my DD214 were I'm at right now since I am taking care of my old man who has bone cancer but as soon as I get home I will send it to you private post. The rules are there more is sometimes more is not better. I just don't like my whole post is deleted when the questionair comes up. You can also look up 24th inf. 3rd eng. charly company sappers and find out all about me. The 24th don't exist anymore they went to the 25th then the 3rd inf. I have nothing to hide if I could remember there names you could ask the Aussies that I faught with. Just a rant. People should have enough courtesy to not fake it here of all places. But there are a lot of glory seekers out there. Me myself didn't get all the glory I wanted. I am only 80% for PTSD by four V.A. shrinks and and one private shrink and a few psycologists and therapists. Even the U.S. government for social security. Again this is not an attack against you Anthony this is a wounderful sight to bad a few make it hard on others. If you don't like the sight or are jelouse because yours didn't make it don't join!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen it myself and I don't think you have to prove anything. it must be an error or else he would have put it in the admin area.

There are no ads incorporated in this site, or any such popups.

You will find you have installed something in your browser, or your browser is infected with a script or such, that is producing ads to popup on the site.

This site has zero ads, popups, etc... nothing.

Delete your browsers cache and cookies, as even a cookie could have been installed which is affecting your connection. You may also need to review any programs installed on your computer, as one could be a corrupted type, ie. if you view porn, warez or other type sites on your computer, those type of sites are synonymous with such infectious malware programs, thus causing stupid shit to happen on your computer.

If anyone else experiences this, then please tell me, because it means someone is tampering with the site externally, which means I will switch this one to https sooner than I was planning to which will stop the issue as well.

Anthony, something weird just happened to me. I logged in, read a couple of posts, moved up to the top and a message saying error, you must be logged in to do that. I clicked of the new posts box and it took me to another page that had me log in again.
Something seems to be up.

That is a software error message, and is correct. You should check "stay logged in" when logging in, which will ensure there is no interruption to your being logged in session. Especially if using wireless...

This will deactivate if you logout at the end of your use. If not, it will log you in automatically next time you visit.

Added: Another aspect that may cause that Sarg is you have a corrupted javascript file in your browser cache which triggered the event, when it otherwise should not have.

The browser IA for problems on any website is: empty cache, force close browser and restart. If problem exists, try another browser to see if the issue is replicated. If so, site is a problem. If not, browser still has an issue / your computer has malware installed that is creating issues.

The server already uses https and is secure, so infections do not happen at the server. Interceptions can occur between the browser and the server, which is not covered by https yet for this site, however; everyone would endure the same issue, not one person. That is when it is computer specific, usually browser or malware related.

Hello Anthony. Bit of no news is good news is all I can offer. Had good anti-virus etc. on my machine before & since being on this site. Never had any pop-ups/malware. Never had any linked tracking cookies or evidence that any other part of the web knew I visited this site.

Thanks I don't veiw any porn this is my Dads computer so I don't know anything about it besides it is new. I don't even know how to get rid of cookies our all the other stuff mentioned on any computer. I will call a tech to walk me through it. Like I said I love this site just been having technical problems. I just hate it when it erases all I have typed. The one I got last time seemed sight spacific. It had a list of all the different types of ptsd in a half page pop up.It was also directed to this sight. Also the sister sights you had to pick what kind of ptsd you have and a direction to the rules of the sights. Thank you for addressing this in a timely manner I was just having a bad day wating to find out if my Pops had to go though another round of keemo and was going to whine to Jimmy it wasn't all that important. The wate was killing me and when everything was gone I went to pisstivity so I appologize for the way I approuched it. I will try to learn more about computers before I jump the gun again. Hey Tex,

Again mate, this site does not use any ads or such popups. The only popup anyone would get is if they invoke an error, which is a small popup on a black frame, just like when you click on a members avatar and it shows their member card, it is that type with an error message.

The site has no other such things as part of the site... people install toolbars and all sorts of things on their computers browsers, and these such things cause popups from sites because they use third part adware within them. You think something is from the site you're visiting, but it is from something installed on your computer.

Everyone would experience the issue here if it was a site problem, ie. every single person would get an ad popup with options, not just you.

You can learn how to clear a browsers cache by Googling the browser type and clear cache. It will give you instructions on how to do it.
