Praying for all of us to find healing in our walks. Found the following in today's Jesus Calling and thought it might bring reassurance and comfort. "Walk peacefully with me through this day. You are wondering how you will cope with all that is expected of you. You must traverse this day like any other: one step at a time. Instead of mentally rehearsing how you will do this or that, keep your mind on My presence and on taking the next step. The more demanding your day, the more help you can expect from me....."

I made a very grave error, writing some letters to prisoners. I used to write to my cousin when he was in prison and so I thought I could cheer up some fellows who are in prison. I thought that pen pals were FRIENDS only, not some guy looking for a women a to marry him in prison, so he could have conjugal visits with her afterward. I had NO IDEA! So all these felons wrote back to me as if I were a prospective mate!!! Sheesh, what on earth did I do? All I thought I was doing was a good deed. At least none of them knows my home address, since I have a P. O. Box. Thanks be to GOD!

Please pray for my personal safety FOREVER and for me to have more common sense, something I lack in great amount. I guess what I am asking for is more wisdom and the ability to look ahead and see consequences. I am forever lacking these things, it seems, and every once in awhile I make a dumb mistake like this. This has been the story of my life....

@SheilaKathy, it's a bunch of guys who don't have an easy time dating being written to by an intelligent awesome woman. Shock! They're probably just happy a woman wrote them, and you made their day. So they tried their best to make themselves look good in your eyes in turn, and wrote you romantic / love / sex letters, however best they're able to flirt.

As in: Chiill. You're not in danger. You've talked to a population that ain't the best in talk anyway, and that's about where it ends. There isn't a physical danger for you because of those communications.

I will not be able to make it to choir practice this morning, because I am doing a Bible Study during the choir's usual Sunday Morning practice time. I could leave the Bible study a little bit early, I suppose. Please pray for me, that no matter how much of our practice I miss, that I will still remember the hymns well enough to sing them beautifully to our Lord.

One verse I think may be very good for the ocassion other than individual prayers is this:

Psalm 40:2: 'He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.'
