What lovely news. Prayer is always a good thing especially when the answer is
Yes to good health and recovery of little Connor. I'm happy for all of you that you can begin to establish a new family routine.

Connor seems to be doing real well. There are some things he is being watched for but to just look at him, he is absolutely normal, just a little skinny for a baby. We are so very blessed.

I am so very tempted to post a pic but am hesitant to do so in public. I'll stick my neck out and, assuming I can do it in PC's, if any of you that have been following Connor, holding him up in prayer and good thoughts, PC me and I will respond with a pic in that way. A little better as far as privacy.

As far as I know, you can't send photo's in PC's. Just thought I'd mention it before you get a load of requests for pics.

Thanks so much for the update, and lovely news! If I could figure this stuff out also, would post a pic of my skinny little baby when he was released-so normal but skinny then a bit later so plain old chubby his little arms stuck out. 32 years later they'll hate that photo and the family will always treasure it.

Much congrats to you and your family, and many smiles, although not sure if congrats is the right word-doesn't seem big enough!

Just an update. Connor is doing so very well. The overall condition, Hydrops, does not usually have a good outcome. The Facebook page my daughter follows has so many sad stories and most that do survive have physical disabilities. There is nothing like that for Connor so far.

He had a follow up with the Neonatal Clinic at the Children's Hospital and the Dr in the clinic was amazed. She had heard of him and told my daughter she was looking forward to seeing the baby she heard so much about. Ericka said one of the Nurse Practioners saw her and wanted them to go to the intensive care unit. The Nurses flocked around to see the miracle baby. The Neonatologist who was in the delivery room and was his Dr for the very first 2 weeks, just happened to be there. She had not seen him since he was so very critical. Ericka said the Dr cried when she saw Connor. Tears of joy. How awesome is that!!

He now weight 9 pound, 11 ounces!!
