I mentioned it on how you feel thread but just incase. Not sure if ever tried it but have heard epsom salts are good for the skin and for conditions like psoriasis, you ever tried it? they are also good for muscle and joint pain and are said to help aid relaxation if you soak in bath with them. Maybe they would help you at the moment skin wise. Just a thought.

My hands are awful, the rest I can cover up, but on my hands I am constantly aware of it. I can feel it on my palms and up my fingers. I was writing at work this morning and it hurt just to hold the pen.

I have been to my GP and she has given me 2 types of cream to try. One for the unmentionable parts where the skin is thin and the other for the scaley plaque areas. Unfortunately I can only have a 4 week course as the cream is contraindicated with my ulcerative colitis meds. She will review me then.

Next week I go for a well woman check - huh, well womann such a joke.

Thanks Lizio, I'd forgotten gloves, I used to wear some lovely cotton ones. I love silk, again I wore silk stockings, such a luxury.

I've just put cream on some areas and I will do other bits  just before I climb into bed. Legs and elbows are now stinging.

Yes, stinging. That is a huge problem. With my son, anything that stings, he screams. So that limits so much what cream we use. Have you tried moogoo. It is an all natural cream made her in Australia. Really good for my son it does not sting. We found the moogoo for the scalp works the best all over his body. Used it on his scalp and it cleared his psoriasis there (or could be a coincidence I suppose) But it is very expensive. But it does not sting and if anything stings he won't use it.

Also, know it sounds weird and alternative, but cacao butter, melted over a bowl of hot water, really moisturising, all natural, not that expensive and you smell like chocolate :). Or coconut oil. We use it in the bath, my son comes out really moisturised after that. (but careful about it blocking the pipes) or can use it straight as a moisturiser, a bit oily, but leaves the skin soft as butter, like the cacao.
