General Ptsd Retreat

My combat vet just informed me he's interested in attending a PTSD camp/retreat or something similar and would like me to help him research information.

This is an amazing breakthrough. The only problem is I don't even know where to begin.

Does anyone happen to know of any resources where I can begin looking into something like this?

We're located in Southern California, but I assume he'd be open to travel so long as it's somewhere in the general Southwest vicinity. Also, he's currently a student so price is a factor as well.

Any information or insight would be so greatly appreciated!

A google search should find a lot. Even some that are out of state have funding to cover travel expenses. I would also look for combat vet only resources because there are a lot of those. Sometimes it can also help to look based on the war he was in -- for example, some things I have seen are just for vets that were wounded in combat during OIF or OEF.
