Questioning The Relationship With My Mother

I agree with the others. A surface and superficial relationship with your mother keeps it safe for you in my opinion. I wish you the best. It is so hard when it is your mother. You want so much more but she is not able to give more.Hugs.

Talked with her a few days ago. Our relationship is like it has been the last few years. I feel she talks with me becasue she is lonely and wants a friend. She was telling me she has had a hard time sleeping and starts talking like I have no idea what insomnia is. Where was she during my childhood??

I always leave the conversation frustrated and annoyed. I wish I could get angry with her. I wish I could yell at her. I really want to let the anger go somewhere.
