Quick Side Effects Q

So I've been on 75mg of Zoloft for several months now (no more than 6) and I didn't take my dose this morning (chemists were closed and I ran out, silly me). I've been shaking quite a bit today (muscle spasms, mostly in my hands but also to the point where I couldn't walk for a while) and I feel fatigued.

I also have several unrelated conditions that require using corticosteroids to control, and my physio thinks those could cause it too. Anyone had this experience with missing a dose of Zoloft before? Trying to nail down which drug it is so I can talk to the right doctor about it :P

(I know we can't diagnose/aren't medical professionals/it could be a mix of all of the above, just wanted the put the question out there)

It could very well be a direct result if you missing a dose. I usually get extremely anxious when I miss one (I'm on 200mg). My doctor explained to me that this kind of medication needs to be taken continuously, or you will get withdrawal symptoms. I believe that what you're describing is fairly common, but you should check with your doctor to be sure.

Will do! Booking an appointment soon, meanwhile I'm going to get right back onto my dose :) thanks for the quick response, it'd be good if it was just the zoloft because that way I won't have to mess with the rest of my meds! Thanks :hug:

I suffered from a similar problem, I skipped a single dose of my medical course and went under a great trouble. I am onto several treatement including cellulite. I am using massage palper rouler for my treatement. My doctor strickly advised me to be regular to the course of treatement and medicine to aviod great trouble.
