Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right board to be posting this on and I am sorry if this is a silly question. I'm just having a hard time understanding why my boyfriend wants to go back into the service after being out for a few years when it was being in combat that brought on his ptsd in the first place? I'm not asking this in a rude way. It is out of concern that is all. Is it that he doesn't associate the two? Is it comfortable and familiar? Sorry again if this is a silly questions. I'm just trying to understand. Please don't get me wrong, I am supporting him and have not expressed anything negative about it. I love him and want him to follow his heart. I just don't understand why and am trying to see it from his point of view.
