It hasn't stopped, I keep hearing this, but my oppo is out there now cracking on still training/mentoring. It can't stop, it's the bedrock of the exit strategy, no?? All the head sheds have done is delay the next intake of 1k Afghan recruits to their police force to do better background checks before they rock up to start, but that's it. And as Jimmy says, these guys get some cultural awareness to learn what pisses off somebody else on both sides. Bang that stable door shut after the horse is bolting.

Two Brit Guardsmen were dropped this weekend by an Afghan wearing a police uniform who'd apparently called them over feigning an injury.

Our (UK's) defence minister said in parliament today that the green on blues won't derail anything. No shit sherlock. He also said UK's priority mission now is 'safety' of it's own troops. Should of thought of that sending a troop (platoon) to cover a TAOR where at least a company is needed. Great. 11 years on, 100s of Brits dropped, 1000s injured and f*ck knows how many down the line with the demons in their head and achieved what, not to men. Shareprice in BAe, Lockheed Martin and Boeing and their suits have come out smiling??

This weekend four American service members were also killed by Afghan 'allies'. f*ckin crazy! Gunned them down at a checkpoint. And then, the shooters escaped! On top of that, the insurgents that attacked Camp Bastion and did a hell of a lot of damage (destroyed 6 AV-8Bs, hangers, fueling sites) and killed several Brits were found to be wearing uniforms very similar to U.S. and Brit uniforms used in Afganistan...f*cking crazy!

You are correct about the faking the injury thing...I saw the intel. Jackass claimed he hurt his ankle so they came to assist and he shot them in cold blood. Bloody f*cking hell!

For all those who are not paying attention, this enemy is ruthless and knows no limits!

Unfortunately we are now gearing up for something Iranian and then some. A larger than normal armada is parked in the Gulf. Hmmmm, Somebody trying to get elected president??

No Brits were harmed on that Bastion attack at the weekend CAFTT, the only things the press gave a shit about it here was that Prince Harry (Queenie's grandson) was there as an Apache pilot and trying to twist it that his prescence is endangering others. Bastion is like a city isn't it. Like saying there were 3x murders in London this week within a mile of the palace whilst Queenie was in residence at Buckingham Palace so she's in danger or her staff just for being there.

Meanwhile the 3 or 4 Brits who were dropped in Afghan gets a few sub-headlines way down the page.

According to the classified intel I saw today, that is not true. But we will wait for the media to get hold of it. Regardless, and trust me here, it was a very sophisticated attack and it was far worse than what has been reported in terms of damage and other issues. Either way, it sucked and thats that.

Fair one, but I'll be shocked if any Brits were dropped in the attack and it's been kept hush. Even UK SF deaths get reported here pretty quickly, even if you don't get their name or circumstances.

Probs best not gob off online to strangers about classified intel to anyone if you're squared away with the truth. Why would anyone??

My bad dude...I got two events confused. You are correct. It was open source intel...I shouldn't have put classified...old habit hard to break. I do work with the classified stuff but I would never reveal it.

Anwyay, no Brits were injured or killed, thank God. It was all Americans. Two killed and five wounded I think. Anyway, sorry for the confusion. I am spacing thanks to good meds.:)
