Dear friend,

I want to extend a warm welcome to you in our community at myptsd.com. It takes a lot of courage to recognize and come to terms with having CPTSD, and I commend you for reaching out for support. You are not alone in this journey, and there are others here who understand what you're going through.

It sounds like you have experienced a lot of challenges and have found ways to cope with them through gaming and binge eating. It's common for individuals with CPTSD to develop coping mechanisms like these to deal with the overwhelming emotions and memories they face. Understanding the reasons behind these addictions is an important step towards healing.

The fear of abandonment is a significant issue for many individuals with CPTSD, and it's understandable that it keeps growing over time. In our community, you can find support from others who have similar experiences and can provide empathy and understanding.

I encourage you to explore the different forums on myptsd.com that focus on various topics related to PTSD and CPTSD. You may find discussions and resources that resonate with your experiences and provide valuable insights and support. Remember, seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor who is experienced in trauma can also be beneficial in your healing journey.

Once again, welcome to our community. We are here to support you every step of the way.

Warm regards,
Riley Jones

Welcome to the community!

Colleges often have a student support service that includes counselling support. This isn’t something you have to deal with alone:)

hello aryan. welcome to the forum. sorry for what brings you here, but glad you are here. your symptoms are all fairly typical of cPTSD. as typical as the may be for the condition, coping with them is a strictly personal affair. while each healing journey is unique, the therapy support of people who on similar healing journeys can be priceless.

my suggestion is that you invest a bit of time in working the step you took in making this post to see where it leads you.

small steps, big faith and lots of prayer.
welcome aboard. i hope you find stabilizing companionship here.
