gypsydream, when you hit you can feel "lucky" which is not something I have felt in any other aspects. If there is a pile of shit to fall in, I will, and dont come out like a rose. But those machine. Win a couple hundrew whoohooo. Then hit a jackpot of $6000 and feel like the luckiest person in the world. Then when you dump it back in the machine over the next weeks and never hit again, feel like a looser.
I know its hard to understand if you havent experienced it. I have never done coke or other drugs so I know I just dont quite get it but have somewhat of an understanding. My therapist said gambling is harder to overcome than a heroine addiction. That really scares me, because when I feel extremely bad I use to do physical labor (yard, house, etc painting). Now I can no longer do that, Im afraid of drugs, use a little alcohol but head for a machine and will loose my weeks grocery money.
