Sometimes i wish someone would just help me

I'm always there for my sufferer and everyone else in my life. I just wish someone would be there for me. I always have to take care of the problems, the bills, the broken appliances, the car, the people that need help. I just wish someone would say, "I see you're struggling with this or that, what can I do to help?" Sigh.

I understand completely and feel your pain. I feel that even when I want to fall apart, I can't. Do you feel that if anyone would say "can I do anything for you" that you would accept, or put on a brave strong front? I think that's what I do. I find it impossible to ask for help at the risk of looking weak, maybe.
For what it's worth, I know that the supporter group has been here for me. Maybe you can find a little bit of comfort in that we are here for you too.

Dude. I need staff. Even all on my own, much less when I'm the ringmaster of this damn circus.

Take a day off. Seriously. Get a sitter. Go to a hotel if you have to. Give the world the bird for a day or two. Mommy needs respite time too. I have to do it every so often. If your sufferer gets alone time to reset, then you should be able to take a little for your own mental health as well.

We get stressed out too. My house isn't as clean and organized like it used to be. Pre PTSD. But we aren't living in filth, our laundry is done, and we rarely miss a meal. So, all things considered we're doing pretty darn good. Some days that's all that matters.

Take some time for yourself. Re-energize. Whatever that means to you. And if there is something you need help with. Just ask. Most people want to help if they can.
