I can't even write my thoughts I'm so messed up to say the least. And it's so scary;again

I can understand if you can't talk about it yet. But can you try to breathe to calm yourself?

I have trouble with complicated breathing/relaxation techniques. The one I use is really easy. You just breathe normally and on every exhale, say a calming word or phrase to yourself. Personally, I say, "shh."

The dissociation is has engulfed every part of whoever I am and the body. I can't hide it. I can't enjoy it. I can't do it anymore. This has been my entire life and I'm exhausted mentally and physically. I should not be here after a car accident that should of killed me.

None of my traumas involved a car accident, but I have been where you are. I know your pain and despondence all too well. Are you in therapy? If not, I strongly urge you to find a good T asap!

@Punky143 I understand the pain you are feeling from the car accident. I was 17 when I was in an accident I shouldn't have survived I still wish I had died often when I am in the spiral like you are having. I won't be trite and say there was a reason you survived and are still here because 30 some years later I can't say I believe that. What I can tell you is that you are here and we are here to listen and support all of you. For now just breathe and take it a step at a time.

Thank you for the kind words. My best friend, the only friend, is retiring next week after years of hard work, and I'm crushed-again. I failed to mention I was in an accident on Halloween and hit a child and since then other trauma has happened and I can't keep having one after another. The world is not the world I remember it being and neither am I.
