Stock Positions

So, I'm starting this thread for the stock trader game. Anthony is only allowing one thread for the Pickem game. So I suppose that this will be that same. I just haven't seen one. Hopefully if there already is one than this one will be appended to it.

I'm starting with 1060.00.

My first buy is 350 of AGEN. Hope I'm not being stupid!

I'm starting out with $443. I've bought 10 shares in GSK at a hefty $25 a share.

I bought these because the last time I was playing this, I made a nice wee profit investing in them. They are one of the few companies I know a little about: they own tons of stuff and make tons of products. Shrugs.

Fingers crossed for you GSK. Make my virtual money dreams come true please :hilarious:.

I'm away to go look up who AGEN are now, BigBear.

Heh, my net worth has increased to $448. I'm worth $5 more :). I better not start basing my self-esteem on this virtual net worth though.

That AGEN company actually sound really worthwhile. How did you hear about them BigBear? I haven't came across them before.

I'm not sure if I should invest more in another company, or wait around. So many choices.

AGEN turned out to be not so good for me. I mis-estimated their net worth.

I'd look for someone that you think will get bought out.

I started out with 103.00.

I bought 1 share in Wesfarmers and 1 in Rio Tinto.
Will watch and see what happens!
