Struggling back at work - considering disability?

Hello! Well I ended up quitting... now not sure what to do. I have to get better. I have a little savings. I am going to try for disability again...
Good luck. If you have a medical reason supported by a physician, then you might be eligible for medical based unemployment if you consider seeking a part-time job. So, if you have a doctor who agrees that the position is too stressful, and will give you a "note" to this effect, you might could go this direction and get income coming in.....while filling out 2 job forms weekly.....seeking a job that is less stressful. I did that a while ago....but check on unemployment regs if you have been working in the same field for at least a year and you have quarters to draw.

Thank you. Would that be more beneficial than tempiirary disability? I was thinking of starting there..

Honestly, you'd get $- 1st check in approx a 4 week time period and the amount would depend on whether you have earned it in working quarters-I believe. If you aren't working, generating income now-as opposed to waiting would be my goal. I went to the unemployment office with a doctors letter, and was approved some years back. I know someone else who did the same. The doctor has to state that the kind of job you are in and have been doing is no longer compatible with your diagnosis, and it exacerbates symptoms. It also really depends upon whether you are planning to work part time, how out of touch you are, and how soon you plan to return to work. But unemployment, if you wanted to generate income the quickest, would be my first source. Read up on how to successfully app;y for medically related unemployment.
