New here. It helps to know I'm not in this battle alone. My guy doesn't leave, but he does go into a very deep and dark place where I can't reach him. We've been together several years and the depressive episodes are further apart, but no less traumatic for me when they happen. I feel so bad for him when he's there but I also feel bad for myself.
