Support Animals

How many of you guys have support/service animals? My psych prescribed me one after I told her about my puppy and the issues we have been having with my landlords. For me, one of the best things about was how busy he kept me in the house. I was happy and comfortable and never lonely when I had him.

I don't have a service animal because there is not a law about them in my country.

I do have a a Border Collie which helps me a lot though. She calms me down when she notices that I'm getting anxious and sits with me when I'm depressed. I also taught her to keep people at least a meter away from me when we go out.

I can't remember what my life was like before having her.

I have a Service Dog in Training. He's a nut and he's getting better but he's been incredible so far when I start to have panic attacks. He's learning public access. He's going to also learn to pull me back when I have a flashback....

Fighting with work so I can bring him even though he's protected by law.

I have a cat as well... He's not a ESA or a Service anything but nothing feels right unless he's on the bed with me purring

I'm in the process of having my service dog in training placed with me. We test for public access in August and he can come home assuming no oddness and we pass.

@desiderata310 & @Kefira i have been trying to find a place that will help me. I am in great need of one. I have emailed some places I found on Google but haven't heard anything back.

I need help and it is extremely hard not having a stable therapist. The way I am behaving is dangerous.

I'm actually in a craptacular position with Char at the moment. I think that my trainer has pretty much deserted me. I've been working with Char on my good days but well... we know how that can go and I am pretty much clueless on how to train some of the stuff I need him to do.
