I do not quite understand the grammar and spelling issues too. I do understand about writing so others can understand a message but do not worry or over a point system. I am new here and learning too. This forum has alot of good people and information from what I have found in reading others. You are not alone lisagrace and should always remember this.
None of us asked for our traumas or PTSD issues. But we are common bond linked even in different circumstances. You are not crazy and neither is any of us. Society can be cold, cruel, unsupportive and uneducated about PTSD and surviving trauma.
I have been married since 1995 to my husband and he has a difficult time understanding PTSD and my struggles to overcome trauma in my youth days from family abusers too. It is not easy to fight the urge to throw in the towel but never let the towel win, so to speak. One can find coping skills that release the horror, trauma, and isolation of alone that does hit most of us I am sure. Tears are my best friend most of the time.
Try a new hobby. Writing, singing, drawing, or painting as therapy. Just ideas that might help you. I also heard that sewing, crafting, and crocheting also help. I wish you lots of support and hope you realize by all these threads that you have came to the right place. Just be careful not to be triggered by the content. PTSD is a trial and error of what works in therapy, treatment, and with symptoms that is only found through self-exploration. I wish you strength.
