I think the problem with 'freezers' (I am one), is that the freeze response is a helpless thing. A freezer generally sees no other possibilities than brain looping and staying in place. The idea of looking for possibilities that include flight/fight is to introduce to the brain other body responses. It gets the brain/nervous system out of the loop which gets them out of freeze, which gets them out of helplessness. Then there can be some thought about what other more effective possibilities there may be to keep out of the freeze loop if they find themselves in a similar situation again. That was always my experience with moving from freeze to fight/flight and it helped a ton.I’m really confused by this...maybe someone can make sense of it for me, but my T is trying to help me find ways to stay in my window of tolerance so that I DONT fight/flight/freeze,
