Well, I talked about talking about it. If that makes any sense. He said it was fine to talk about, that he wasn't uncomfortable with it or anything. I told him we could talk about it at our next session then. Now I'm scared to go back. I guess I could always spend my next session talking about something else to avoid it. And the next session, and the next....

A bandaide never comes comes without pulling it. Just rip it off. Close your eyes if needed (literlly - I did) and just tell him the most embarrasing or the most *can't talk about* thing and keep your eyes closed or hand/pillow over your face if you need to (I did both) and let him make you at ease. Mine did amazing at it. So much so that at the next session I could tell him more, then more, then more....etc.

I like fear. It let's me know I think something is dangerous.

Of course, what I think is dangerous, & what's actually dangerous are often wildly different creatures. But either way? It either lets me plan for real danger, or get a good laugh at what I've decided is dangerous. In either case, though? Action kills fear.

So -realizing this could sound rhetorical, but I promise it isn't- What are you scared of?
