Teenage Rebellion, In My 30's?

Hi, I went through teenage rebellion after I started therapy and got piercings in my ears and nose and got tattoos. I think I grew out of the stage and took out the piercings and only wear one pair of earrings now. I am more adult and I am happy with where I am. I think the rebelliousness is a way to become our real selves, trying things on and then taking them off and trying other things. The only thing I regret is getting tattoos where clothes do not cover them. But I am not sorry I got them because they tell a part of my story.

I really got into music too. I lost interest not too long ago, no more teenage sorrows that need balm of loud and disturbing music. I went through my rebellious years for many years before I grew out of it. I can so relate and identify with what you are going through now.

You are in the process of becoming your true self and it is a growing season that takes as long as it takes. Just my opinions. Take care and be well.
