God, it's been almost eight years since my wife passed.. Eight years. Lonely as hell. I told my therapist that I'm now casting a look over my shoulder to look for her silohuet in the bed clothes, or expecting her to say something. I could go looking for a lady but I really don't think I'll find another woman to put up with my beast.
Besides, I think I was only "issued" one and that's it.
Chem, if you can make it work, try. As I said in a post to Tho just recently that PTSD and it's related problems is easier to take if you have someone with you. But don't try to force a relationship. They don't work, I've seen it too many times.
Actually, I'm starting to think that my lonliness now is payment for the happiness she and I enjoyed.
