I propose a new game that was inspired by the "Wish Game with a Twist" thread. I imagine most of you have read Harry Potter books or seen the movies. Even if you didn't though, you could understand and participate in this one. I'll explain the idea:
Neville Longbottom is scared to death of Snape. At one point, they have an Defense Against the Dark Arts class. There's some rattling in the cabinet and loud noises as they all enter the classroom, and professor Remus Lupin explains that there's a Boggart hiding in the cabinet. A Boggart is a creature that will take the shape of the thing you fear most, when it is confronted with you personally.
Remus decides to use the Boggart for practice and releases it against it students, one by one. He tells them to picture something ridiculous in their heads when they are confronted by this thing. Neville imagines his grandmother's clothing: and after some effort, he sees Snape dressed in women's clothing, with a giant vulture hat on his head!
I'd like to practice this idea. We all have things that we are terrified of, and with good reason. Making them silly will help us take them a little bit less seriously and have a laugh! So the idea is to share something that scares you, but are comfortable enough with to share here. The next person will unleash their fantasy upon it and make it into something less threathening. And so on.
I'll start: I am frequently scared of people who walk behind me. Go! ;)
