The Easter Egg Weekend - What Are You Doing?

Keeping to myself and walking my dog (on the beach, I live near Byron Bay) each day and yoga if I get out of bed early enough... and who am I kidding? I'll eat a whole jar of Nutella while cursing all the people at Bluesfest festival and myself for not getting tickets early enough to see Neil Finn on Monday :arghh;

I just spend the time alone in my flat. I only leave it for some runs - when the weather will allow it. I'll use the time for some piano practise, reading, learning...and writing.

Even if I somehow fear that my family expected me to show up after they noticed that my flatmate ain't here during Easter. :cautious: I just ignored that topic. I'm not into the whole Easter-stuff at all.

So my husband and I started this tradition and its the most hilarious, awesome and best cheer up ever. Every Easter we are reminded by family that we are not following "the rules " for choosing to not go with our parents' forceful view of religion nor having kids so far and 35. We have two dogs that are our kids, 70 pounders and they get spoiled with plastic eggs filled with fresh meat treats - they have to wait in the bedroom while we are hiding them and then when we call them, they go nuts finding the eggs. They will paw the eggs either until they crack or until we open for them. Its absolutely hilarious. We cry laughing over a beer and forget about anything negative.
