Yaay, just saw that on MSNBC online.

Eh, okay, still cowering now, because I am so ashamed my idea of going to a red state to vote for Hillary was illegal and I didn't know that. I thought we could all cast our ballot anywhere as long as we did it only once. I was wrong. Blah, hiding my head.

@hodge

It's ok------it was just a thought, nothing you actually acted on. If thoughts (even innocent ones we don't know are "wrong") are cause for stringing one up by the toes------well let's just say I would have lost all of my toes long ago, lol.

Lol, thanks, Eve. Guess I'm feeling desperate. That guy triggers me so much. Though now I know better, I would never do that. I have the utmost respect for our voting system and would be mortified if I violated it.

It is kinda interesting to see these formerly deep red states turning blue (or lesser shades of red). I think the south will flip first, with the Midwest and states along the Mississippi being harder to turn. (Speaking in general, not necessarily for this election.)

Maybe step away from politics for now? I think it's good to stay informed, but it can get to be too much. I haven't been watching much political stuff for the last few days and it's kinda nice. I usually like watching the Olympics but haven't gotten into it much yet. I got a little nauseated when the commentators wouldn't stop going on and on about how these athletes have made major sacrifices to get where they are. I guess it hit a little too close to Trumps comments about sacrifices for me. I understand that there are different levels of sacrifices, but a 15 year old not going to prom isn't a sacrifice, it's a choice. I wish this was pounded into people's heads more-----we make choices in life. Chalking minor stuff up as being a sacrifice makes it feel like we're all just victims of our circumstances. Oops-----I totally went off topic.

GO HILLARY! Way to turn the vote in Georgia! Hmmm, what state can we flip next? ;)

I need to plan something. So I contacted a person we used to be friends...and she was a caterer way back....and we're going to host a party for the first debate. I've got to find a venue but I'm thinking the cinebistro here in town will be where I concentrate. I've got to shoot off some emails. Sports bars are out because it's a big NFL game that night. I like the theatre idea better anyway. There's food and alcohol to buy and we can probably arrange for appetizers. And the big ass screen will be wonderful for our drinking bingo game. I'll contact some smaller restaurants too. This will be fun! Hoping to keep the cost to $15-$25 per person. Woohoo!!
