Guess what!:joyful: My nearly 20 year old son has come to live with me! I didn't try to get him to live up here earlier coz we have so little room, already, for ourselves, but he couldn't handle it at his Dad's anymore so he's come up here! He's sleeping in with his twelvey bro. He was really upset on the phone but since getting here's he's smiley and happy.
I feel more whole and well, just having him here. So so happy to have my son with me!!!!:hug::p:):joyful::smug::happy:

Thank you! :) Thank you! :) Thank you guys! @Sietz @Swift @ladee & @somerandomguy :) We are off to next-town-over, son has an appointment for a mental health assessment and I'm taking him to my counselling-at-a-cafe, with my Trauma counsellor.

Last year, we suffered a devastating flood and her work place is still not quite open due to reno's, the flood was over a year ago! So that's why, this particular T and I have to meet in a cafe. I have another T, one funded through a sexual assault org, who been on leave for a month or so. I only started with her at the end of last year, while I've seen my trauma T for about 46 sessions now.
She's really lovely.
I've taken my guy in to meet her and she's shouted us coffee (well, her work has) so today I'm taking my young-man-son to get to know her a bit. He met her last week, when she kind did some hand holding for me (figuratively) at the Doctors. We'll have some lunch out and go op shopping again. Son brought basically nothing with him, so we'll Have to organise a pick up of his stuff, sometime. It's so good having him with us! So much easier to help him get shit sorted :) we just have standing or sitting room, only, in our place, though, it's hang out on your bed, a small amount of couch room, one person or two if you wanna be cramped, in the kitchen, that sort of thing.

Mums, you are very loved, and you deserve every ounce of it. Remind yourself of that as often as you need to.

I am so glad your boy can have a space to hopefully rest, if that is something he is needing. And to feel loved, of course. . the natural relaxation and healing that comes through that.

I'm so happy to have him with me! :-) we are at a student awards night for my oldest daughter :-) she won "student of the year" :-) very, very hardworking and gifted young woman, she is! She is 24 and very beautiful and amazing. She is learning to be a toure de force in the fashion world :-)

Who knew, when you first started your diary, you would be having all these wonder filled feelings and gratitude of having your kids in your life, in your home, and always in your heart....

Regardless of how things were, you did a lot of things right Mums....and still are. There are things that speak louder than PTSD. Love being first on that list. Congrats to your daughter.. awesome achievement. Gentle hugs
